The Buffalo Bicycle is carefully built and designed by World Bicycle Relief, an international nonprofit mobilizing people through the power of bicycles. Built with heavy-gauge steel and rugged tires, it’s designed to carry a large load over long distances. With only 1 gear and a coaster (pedal-back) brake, this bike is best suited for the flat roads and trails of Greater Portland, and probably not for regular interval training up and down Deering or Munjoy Hill. Like all our bikes, this Buffalo bike has been fully tuned, checked by 2 professional mechanics, and has received new replacement parts and upgrades so that all you have to do is ride.
