The Portland Gear Hub operates all year round! In the winter months we ‘shift gears’ and focus on nordic skis, snowshoes, winter gear, and fat bikes. We still operate our full-service bike shop and love discussing ways to keep you and your bikes ready for all of the entertaining different weather, trail, and road conditions that winter in Maine has to offer. The Portland Gear Hub relies on volunteers LIKE YOU to help us process donations, build bikes, sort skis, and more!
